How to quickly create starts and faraway Galaxies ⭐️
Step 1
Open a new document in photoshop and make the width: 1550px, the height: 870px and the resolution: 150 px. Then click on “Create”.
Step 2
If the foreground and background color aren’t black and white respectively press “D” on the keyboard and fill the background layer with the foreground color by pressing Alt+Delete on window or option+Delete on Mac.
Step 3
Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise
Make the Amount 400 %, select Gaussian Distribution and check Monochromatic. Click on “Ok”.
Step 4
Make a copy of the layer by pressing Ctrl+J and Cmd + J. In the layer panel, click off the eyeball to hide the layer and select the background layer.
Step 5
Go to filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur
Blur it 0.5 px and click “OK”
Step 6
Adjust its level by pressing Ctrl+L or Cmd+L
For the input black, type in 200, and for the input Midtones type in 0.42
Step 7
Make the top layer visible and active.
Go to filter > Blur >Gaussian Blur and blur it 2px and click “OK”.
Step 8
Press Ctrl or Cmd+L and in the input black field, type in 170, and for the input white field, type in 172 and click “OK”
Step 9
Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur
and Blur it 1px.
Step 10
Go to the window > channels then click the small circular icon at the bottom to make a selection of all the starts
and then, open back up your layers panel and delete the upper layer because we now have a selection of their shapes.
Step 11
Click the new layer icon to make a new layer
Press Ctrl or Cmd+delete and then press Ctrl or Cmd+D
Step 12
Double click on the layer to open its layer style. Click the “outer glow” and click the color box, pick the white color(#ffffff) and click “OK”
Change the blend mode to Normal and increase the size to 10px. Then click “OK”.
Let’s merge the layers by pressing Ctrl or Cmd+E.
Step 13
Click the new layer icon to make a new layer and press alt or option+delete to fill it with black color. Then Go to filter >Render >Clouds
Change its Blend Mode to Color Dodge.
Step 14
Make a new layer under the active layer by Ctrl-clicking or Cmd-clicking on the new layer icon. In this layer, we will brush in colors. Click the foreground color to open the color picker. Pick a rich blue. Its hexadecimal value is #0018FF and then click “OK”.
Step 15
Open your brush tool
Make the Size 700px, the hardness 0%, and the opacity 10% and then press enter.
Press F5 or window+F5 to open your brush preset panel. Make sure none of the settings are checked except smoothing, then press F5 (or window+F5) to close the panel.
Step 16
Gently brush over wide areas of the image. To reduce the size of the brush press [ on keyboard.
Let’s add another color, click on the foreground color again and pick color #00FFEA. To increase the brush size press ]. Continue to brush over the starfield
Go to filter > blur > Gaussian blur and blur it approximately 80 px.
Let’s add another color. Pick #6000ff
Add one more color. Choose rich yellow #FFD200. Brush it over the image.
